Can I roll it up and take it with me?
We do not recommend it. The Think Board could be difficult to place back on the liner, or get dirty in transport. We are working on a solution.

How can I add on more Think Board X's to my pledge?
After the campaign ends you will receive a Backerkit survey where you will have an opportunity to make additions to your order and confirm your shipping address!

Does it lose it's stickiness if I move it?
The adhesive is crafted to be repositionable. What that means is you should be able to move it from one surface to the next. The two most common questions are, “how many times” and “can I travel with it?” And our answer is… well, it depends. If you’re moving desks within the office, or from one wall to another in the same room/building, you should be fine!
The issues appear when one of the following occurs: 1) Dust or dirt gets stuck to the adhesive during the move 2) The Think Board sticks to itself and turns into a big mess 3) The Think Board was stuck to a poorly painted wall and it takes a little paint with it upon removal, making it harder to stick perfectly to the next surface.
As far as traveling with the Think Board, we don’t recommend it. It’s tricky to roll it up and take it with you to go. What we recommend (for you avid travelers like us) is to get the Small Think Board X and just keep it in your backpack. When you’re at a new hotel or coffee shop, pull it out and use it on the table/desk, and when you’re done, scan & erase!

Will Think Board X damage my wall?
No! The Think Board X will remove easily without harming your wall, or leaving a sticky residue. Just peel it off - there will be no damage to your wall, desk, or any other surface! We’ve only seen issues if the wall paint was very old.

Does it work on ANY surface?
We do not recommend placing a Think Board on brick, eggshell/textured walls, or wallpaper. We have customers in the past that have had issues. Please try your Think Board on painted drywall, wood, stainless steel, blackboard or plastic!

Can I use any type/color of marker?
Every marker we’ve tested has worked! Some colors have a slightly harder time erasing, but they will work! Wet erase markers work very well!
Last updated: September 11, 2018 21:57
I want to use it on my laptop, but I don't want it to smudge, what should I do?
Try wet-erase markers! They work the same as dry erase, but require a drop of water to dissolve the ink and erase.

What if I accidentally use permanent marker?
A little bit of rubbing alcohol will take it right off!
Last updated: September 11, 2018 21:57
Does it ghost or discolor over time?
Nope! If you use the microfiber cloth provided, you should be ghost free:) Hooray!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
